Hey friends! I am a Black Woman fantasy nerd who was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Which of course influences what I write about. I have a writing focused BA in English Literature with a minor in Counseling. In undergrad I was recognized for my work in my department several times. 

My goal is to use fantastical storytelling to address things that are difficult to process and talk about. Basically, I write about dark themes with positive messages. 

However, authoring is not all I do!

Beta reading services

I recently opened up beta reading services. For up to $100 on fiver (with additional service fees) I am willing to read a 150,000-word (or less) manuscript. 

I am sensitive writer friendly, I read diversely, I am an active communicator, I will give line and developmental feedback, and I don’t mind spicy scenes. I can make suggestions for character arcs, plot progression, and writing style as I catch them. I leave in manuscript comments and will provide a full reader report on these topics.

What are my books about? 

The conquer series

The Conquer series is a trilogy that spans over the course of about ten years. It follows the lives of five teens who grow into young adults in a world where they are consistently hiding or on the run. Each of them is gifted or to some they are cursed with supernatural abilities born from the trauma they experience. With this they face the everchanging dilemma of their identities. They may crave justice, they may crave revenge, or is it something else? Follow them through their ups and downs as they learn to find love for themselves, their community, friends, and family within the battles they face. The battles of their minds, hearts, and their lives. Journey with them as they learn what it means to CONQUER.

This series is not completed yet, but books one and two are available on my website in e-book, paperback, and hardback!
