Here's the truth... 2025 was rough as hell. Not just for me, but for literally everyone. The world has been burning for most of our lives, but 2025 was a new level of hell for so many, myself included. I don't know what that did to you, but for me, it was very hard to engage with a lot of my normal content and reading. Especially the second half of the year. As a result, our bookclub kind of died a little bit.

I want it back.

I need this space with you all. I need these conversations and I need these stories and I need to spend time talking about them, learning to see the world differently, and sharpening my own ability to dream. As I often say, literature has the power to change the world, and it does that by changing us. So I am not ok with this space we have created continuing to wither away.

With that said, January has not let up at all and I am ashamed to admit that I haven't finished a book yet in 2026!

HOWEVER, I am locking myself in the house tomorrow to finish our bookclub book So Let Them Burn by Kamilah Cole! Some of you caught me on LIVE the other day cracking it open FINALLY and I am about 60 pages in. As expected, IT IS FANTASTIC!

I am very excited to finish it. So you can look forward to all of my thoughts any day now! If you haven't read it yet, I am begging you to join me tomorrow and finish it so that we can talk all about in the discord Bookclub room!
